          • A: Because this site is first and foremost a place for supporting groups and movement formation. It is not meant to be exactly like Facebook. What you want to share may be more useful in a group conversation page, or shared in the form of an Event or Resource.         • What is the purpose of the group I want to create?  Is there a need? Is there already a group on the CCJnet for this? (Search in the Group Directory to make sure)
        • Group name and description – make it easy for people to know what your group is about and who it is for. Try to avoid acronyms and jargon.
        • Group type – pick the one that best describes what you want to do; review definitions
        • Choosing place-based or virtual group
          • Limitations around choosing a City, State/Province, & Country for place-based group (i.e. not easy to indicate that it’s a regional/multi-state group —  just have to be clear about this in the group description)
